iENGINEERING continues to make significant strides in improving the National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP) DataMine. Recently, we successfully delivered the Geotextiles and Geosynthetics (GTX) module and the Subgrade Stabilization Geosynthetics (SSGEO) module as well as introduced the new Industry Document Repository (IDR) module for NTPEP DataMine, revolutionizing the functionality and usability of the platform.
The GTX module enhancement, delivered to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), introduces a streamlined display of private label audit products’ complete product hierarchy. By organizing the data under sections labeled “Prime Source” and assigning a number to each product, the enhancement simplifies data organization and accessibility. Redundant and cyclical sources are now marked, ensuring a more concise representation of information.
The SSGEO module empowers users to submit applications for subgrade stabilization product evaluation and facility audits. Focusing on geogrid and woven geotextiles, the module provides valuable insights into the performance of these materials in real-world applications. The integration of the SSGEO module into the NTPEP DataMine equips users with the necessary tools to make informed decisions and drive advancements in subgrade stabilization techniques.
The IDR module serves as a dedicated interface for manufacturers within the NTPEP framework. Manufacturers can seamlessly upload additional documents related to their existing NTPEP products and facilities. State Departments of Transportation users and authorized manufacturers can access all relevant documentation through the centralized repository, facilitating efficient document management.
These enhancements demonstrate iENGINEERING’s commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that drive efficiency, collaboration, and data integrity within the NTPEP ecosystem. We remain dedicated to support AASHTO and its members in their geosynthetics research and decision-making processes. With these advancements, iENGINEERING continues to innovate and lead the way in the field of transportation product evaluation.
