Transconomy Awarded Project for the City of Bowie

Transconomy was recently awarded with a project to deliver a comprehensive roadway asset inventory for the City of Bowie, Maryland. The scope of this project includes data collection and processing of an up-to-date roadway asset inventory for all highways and streets in the city, which consists of approximately 200 centerline miles. The main requirements for this roadway asset inventory are pavement condition ranking and asset extraction of traffic signs, point assets, and line assets.

As a part of this project, instructions were provided to City staff members who are responsible for performing the roadway image collection and synchronization using Transconomy Collector. Once data collection is complete, Transconomy will process the collected images to extract the required assets and deliver the asset inventory in ESRI compatible format. Enhanced data visualization will also be provided as a value-add to this project by using Transconomy Viewer.
